Vroya’s Review
Maybe it’s just me, but I absolutely hated School House Shuffle. Of course I am biased - I don’t particularly like time management games to begin with (with a few exceptions), but this game didn’t last 10 minutes on my computer.
The concept is good, the audio and graphics are good - but the gameplay totally destroys what should be a fun game. You are literally in control of everything, from screaming tots to broken toilets, to staff sleeping on the job, and it all happens at the same time. There is no flow to the game, and no way to anticipate what will happen next. That said, you do get breaks - occasionally nothing will happen for minutes at a time. Seriously - absolutely nothing happens - nothing goes wrong, and you get to sit and stare at your screen waiting for the next emergency - which invariably will happen just as you start to doze off - and in multiples of fours and fives.
Once again I repeat that I don’t particularly care for this type of game to begin with - but I’ve always been able to play for a period of time and look at the game objectively. However - School House Shuffle was absolutely unbearable for me.
If you want to take a shot at it - please do the trial download. Do not - I repeat, do not purchase this game outright until you’ve played it for yourself for a bit. And please, if you are one of those rare individuals that like this game, let me know. Better yet, write your own review for it and let everyone know it’s not really so worthless after all.
Have you played School House Shuffle? We’d love your comments and reviews.
